Meghan Markle Pasta Recipe

Meghan Markle Pasta Recipe

We adore a delightful one pot pasta evening meal around here! This Meghan Markle’s pasta dish is not only flavorful and simple to prepare, but it’s also an excellent technique to integrate more vegetables into your dishes.

This recipe is worthy for Spring; it is fresh, light and lively! Thanks to all the green veggies utilized, including kale, spinach, and rocket leaves (arugula).

If you have watched Meghan Markle’s show (With Love, Meghan) on Netflix, she prepared this single pan spaghetti for her friend in episode 1, along with other homemade meals and gifts. She tossed all the ingredients into the skillet and poured boiling water over it to start the cooking process right away. Interestingly, there’s no cream in this spaghetti, yet it turned out wonderfully creamy, thanks to the starch released by the pasta as it simmered.

Before you dismiss this simple one-pot recipe, I encourage you to give it a shot first. While it may not be an earth-shattering dish, it is certainly tasty and ideal for a hectic weeknight. This meal is set to become a staple in your weekly cooking.

Reasons you’ll adore this recipe

Fast, easy, and delicious: This recipe can be completed in under 20 minutes. Forget what you’ve heard. This is genuinely good. I’ve even tested it with diced tomatoes and honestly, it is scrumptious.

It makes excellent leftovers: Just as the Duchess of Sussex mentioned about her children bringing the leftovers of this single pan pasta dish to school, it does improve the following day. It serves as a perfect lunch option for work or school.

Cost-effective: This recipe employs basic, reasonably priced ingredients that you commonly use. You don’t have to spend lavishly to prepare a delightful meal. If it’s suitable for the Royals, it’s suitable for you too!

Flexible: This recipe is fine with just spinach if that’s what you have available. You can also incorporate other leafy greens you prefer into this dish as well.

Baby spinach

Swiss chard:Meghan Sussex did include this in her recipe; I didn’t add it as it’s not easily found around here.

Steps to prepare Meghan Markle Pasta

Heat a shallow skillet over medium heat. Pour in olive oil, diced tomatoes, garlic, kale stems, spaghetti, zest of one lemon, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and salt to taste. Fill with boiling water, ensuring it is about level with the spaghetti.

Cover and cook until the spaghetti is about 90% cooked.

Incorporate grated parmesan cheese into the pasta and mix well.

Add chopped kale, spinach, and arugula (rocket leaves). Cover the skillet with a lid for 1-2 minutes to allow the vegetables to wilt.

Remove the lid and mix the spaghetti with the vegetables until thoroughly combined.

Serve and enjoy! You can accompany it with garlic bread or proteins like this crispy baked chicken thighs or air fryer shrimp.
