Air Fryer Salmon Bites with Creamy Lemon Dill Sauce
How to Create Air Fryer Salmon Bites (step-by-step instructions)
STEP 1. Start by preheating your air fryer to 400°F and lightly applying oil to the basket to avoid sticking. Pat the salmon cubes completely dry using paper towels, then transfer them to a mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, lemon pepper seasoning, and garlic powder. Gently mix until every piece is thoroughly coated with the seasonings and oil. (Photos 1 & 2)
STEP 2. Place the salmon pieces in a single layer within your air fryer basket, ensuring there is space between each piece for adequate air circulation. Overcrowding the basket will lead to steaming instead of crisping. (Photo 3)
STEP 3. Air fry for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket or turning the pieces halfway through cooking. The salmon is ready when it’s lightly golden on the outside and just cooked through in the center – it should flake easily with a fork while remaining moist. (Photo 4)
STEP 4. As the salmon cooks, make the sauce by mixing together the Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped dill, and grated garlic in a small bowl until smooth. Taste and modify the seasoning with salt if necessary. (Photo 5)
STEP 5. Present the salmon bites warm with the creamy lemon dill sauce either drizzled on top or served on the side for dipping. (Photo 6)
